Browns Bar and Brasserie is a great place to visit when you’re in Windsor. The food offered in Browns restaurant is mixed with both old classics, and modern favorites, which are guaranteed to satisfy your needs. It has a great selection of European prepared dishes. Depending on the time of day that you visit, there is a menu with different items on it. A breakfast and lunch are common at most restaurants, but Brown’s offers other menus too. They exclusively have a varsity menu and cathedral menu, which offer 2 or 3 course meals for larger groups who visit the restaurant.
On Brown’s everyday menu some of their choices include salmon and other fish, chicken dishes, steak dishes, pork and duck dishes, and many other varieties of your favorite foods. Browns Bar and Brasserie has an extensive list of drinks for you to enjoy with your meal, or enjoy on a night out. Coffee and tea are both non-alcoholic drinks for after dinner. Champagne, rose wine, white wine, and red wine are all featured at Browns. There is a wide variety of beer from all over the world sold at the bar as well as any brand imaginable of vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, and tequila. Browns also offer several generic cocktails such as mojitos, pina colada, and a bloody Mary. However, Browns also has their own exclusive cocktails. One of their most famous signature cocktails is called a West Indian Yellow Bird. The ingredients used to make this drink include Appleton’s V/X rum, Koko Kanu coconut rum, Galliano, and pineapple juice!
Browns have several different locations that offer different private rooms for dining. The Windsor Browns Bar location has a private room that can seat up to 60 people for dinner. This room overlooks the Thames River and Windsor Castle. Browns also offers a conference room to dine in when you are doing business. Weddings ceremonies and receptions can also take place in one of Browns’ wedding rooms.
Right now Browns has specials taking place in there regularly. On Sundays, children eat free when one adult orders a meal. Monday through Wednesday is Browns’ martini night. The time is from 5 pm to 11 pm. During this time Browns cocktails are only £3.50. The list of cocktails has over 40 different types to choose from, including the signature drinks Browns Bar & Brasserie is known for. One of the most recent additions to Browns is a mini- Grand piano that was added to the bar for your enjoyment. Bar snacks have also have been added f you do not want a full meal, but want something small with your drink. Children and groups are both welcomed at the restaurant. Outside seating and reservations are both another convenience added to the already great things about Browns restaurant. There is also no cover charge to get into the bar part of Browns. It is easy to see why Browns Bar and Brasserie is one of the many fine restaurants to visit when you are in Windsor.
